Q: Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story?
BB:
I am an entrepreneur and advocate for women especially those who have overcome domestic violence. I see myself as someone who has survived to thrive past my experience with domestic violence to hopefully inspire others. 

Q: What was your mission from the outset when you started Bogues Consulting Group?
BB:
I wanted to create a business that could connect others with their vision and audiences. At BCG we help brands tell their stories authentically by connecting them to the right publication or by creating their ideal event experience. Our mission is to apply design, data, and detail to each client by providing unmatched customer service, experienced consulting, creativity, and connections. 

Q: Tell us about your weekly YouTube even Bogues Life with Britt Bogues.
BB:
My weekly YouTube is a channel for tips and tricks for those interested in business growth, innovation, family, fitness, and faith. 

Q: What was your mission at the outset when you started your business?
BB:
I plan to own several ventures, so my mission is to be a great leader and person.

Q: Can you share some of your work you’ve been part of as an advocate?
BB:
Some of the work that I have been a part of is the work I get to do with the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council, city appointed position geared to assist in keeping young adults out of the prison system. We oversee a 2 million dollar budget allocating it to programming that supports and provides assistance in fighting the school to prison pipeline. 

Q: Where do you see your business five years from now?
BB:
I see BCG in other countries in five years.

Q: To what do you attribute your success?
BB:
I attribute my success to a number of factors like my amazing team, my business partner, my family, my boyfriend, my friends. 

Q: What advice would you give to young women who want to pursue their dream and start a business? 
BB:
Go after it-- write it down, make a plan and follow your dreams. Don’t let anyone or anything deter you from going after what you want.

Q: What was your first job? And how did it shape or impact you?
BB:
My first job was YWCA working at the Front Desk and it helped me learn how to speak with anyone and gave me an appreciation for life. 

Q: Which woman inspires you and why? 
BB:
My mother has always been a great source of inspiration for me because she is not only beautiful, always smells amazing, so well put together, is creative, cooks beautiful feast but is the most creative person. I am so grateful to have her in my life.

1. If you could talk to one famous person past or present, who would it be and why?
Frida Kahlo--I would love to just talk about her motivations, how she was able to remain creative and focused and passionate about what she loved to do.

2. How would your friends describe you?
Bubbly, energetic, funny, hardworking, blunt 

3. What would you sing at Karaoke night?
Lizzo Truth Hurts (At the top of my lungs) 

4. What app can’t you live without?
Basecamp (Project Management) app for my team and I--cut down on emails and we love it!!

5. Favorite dessert?
Creme brulee
